Monday, 28 January 2008 |
My Yahoo Pipe picked up a post about a band getting their gear boosted in Seattle. I contacted the poster, expressed my condolences, and received this response from Derek of the band Lucky Suns.
"We were the 2nd band to play at The Funhouse in Seattle on Thursday Jan. 24, 2008. We finished about 11:45 pm. After our set, we began to load our cars with equipment. We were parked in the lot behind the funhouse. The parking lot is secluded. Our pedal steel player loaded his SUV with a Sho Bud pedal steel, fender tele thinline, etc. (see below).

Brooklyn based Panthers had approximately $3k worth of equipment stolen from outside their hotel room in Montreal. They allegedly paid the Lord Barri hotel an extra 16$ to put the van in a "safe" parking space.
