AXEMEN Gear Stolen in Sacramento, CA

The AXEMEN had a ton of gear stolen from their van while stopped in Sacramento. I have pasted the following directly from their blog.

Lucky Suns Gear Stolen in Seattle

My Yahoo Pipe picked up a post about a band getting their gear boosted in Seattle. I contacted the poster, expressed my condolences, and received this response from Derek of the band Lucky Suns.

"We were the 2nd band to play at The Funhouse in Seattle on Thursday Jan. 24, 2008. We finished about 11:45 pm. After our set, we began to load our cars with equipment. We were parked in the lot behind the funhouse. The parking lot is secluded. Our pedal steel player loaded his SUV with a Sho Bud pedal steel, fender tele thinline, etc. (see below).

Arise and Ruin Gear Stolen on Christmas Eve in Ontario

Canadian metalcore band Arise and Ruin had their practice space in Guelph, Ontario looted of approximately $10-20k worth of gear on Christmas Eve .

Stolen in the heist was:
  • 2 Behringer PA systems
  • Yamaha PA system
  • 3 Mesa Boogie 4x12 slant cabs
  • 2 Mesa Boogie dual rectifier heads
  • Mesa Boogie flight case
  • SWR-2x10 bass head and 1x15 cabs

The Pullman Strike's Gear Stolen in Detroit

The Pullman Strike had an equipment laden U-Haul trailer stolen from them on Saturday, December 29, 2007 in Detroit, MI. A white van was reported to have hooked up and pulled away with it. The band lost everything they own.

Drowning Pool Gear Stolen in Dallas, AGAIN

Dallas hard rock band Drowning Pool had their Public Storage space burglarized in late December 2007. This is the second time in three months the band has been victimized. You may recall that they had their gear stolen November 21, 2007 from a storage location situated approximately one block away. They are moving their storage space to an undisclosed location.

CBS 11 News Dallas, TX states that the following equipment was stolen

"Drowning Pool lost two Basson speaker cabinets, four Lakland bass guitars, two Kustom '72 Coupe amplifiers, one D.W. drum kit and other equipment. But this time, there were no cameras to catch the crime." http://cbs11tv.com/local/drowning.pool.thieves.2.624324.html
